    This new place was delightful. The atmosphere was comfortable and quaint, and the food was FANTASTIC. The best italian I have ever had since moving to Montgomery County 7 years ago. BYOB is a great perk too! Service was perfect, the wait staff was nice and friendly and let us sit and talk long after we had finished dinner. My only hope is that they extend their hours bc closing at 9p turns later diners away. Will definitely come back again :)

    In the last 3 - 4 weeks I have eaten there three times. The food and the service just keep getting better. Every dish I had was wonderful as was the pizza. The food and the atmosphere are among the best in the area. I would recommend them to anyone.

    I have eaten here for lunch and dinner and the food and service were fabulous. They really make you feel like one of the family. Everyone I encountered were very friendly. The food was fantastic. Great atmosphere too. I definitely recommend Mama Velia's.

    Food is FANTASTIC!!! Cut them some slack though. They are new and working out the kinks and it takes time. Go in with an open mind because the food and service is absolutely worth it! Everyone was friendly and inviting and you truly feel like you're part of the family. Best Italian food I've ever had!

    I had lunch the other day at Mama Velia's and what service! They did it all. Got my wine chilled, made suggestions, quick service, the works. I was treated like royalty. I also suggest if the weather is nice, have a seat outside. It will make the experience perfect. Just don't hesitate and check out Mama Velia's for good, authentic Italian food!
